Andre has another reason for making his designs available, other than just immense love of the field. He became tired of the low standards and deceit within the eyewear industry. Unfortunately some companies are involved in underhanded conduct, over-charging and delivering mediocrity. R&D has become almost obsolete, and many companies cut all the corners to provide cookie-cutter, low quality, mass-produced product.
When Andre couldn't find the quality he desired, with the creativity and development of the 70s and 80s, he hand-crafted his own. Now he is sharing that with you, bringing back the genuine quality of eyewear. Gorgeous pieces, designed with love.
Andre Montana range are vintage-inspired designs, personally designed by Andre Montana. Using his own extensive collection of vintage eyewear as inspiration, Andre has created striking designs and pieces reminiscent of the finest 1960's to 1990's looks. His personal collection is impressive, built over 18 years of collecting vintage frames.
Given his extensive knowledge, above-mentioned standards and experience, it was a natural progression to move into purveying unique and rare vintage eyewear, as well as designing his own.
With a focus on beautiful detail, the designs range from simple to intricate, but are always stunning and eye-catching. Andre's focus on exceptional quality and his exacting standards results in pieces of art, jewelry for your face. His masters degree in aeronautical and mechanical design (Leonardo DaVinci University in Paris) has fueled the realization of his designs. With a background in creating accessories for some of the biggest names in designer fashion, Andre is highly experienced in detailed design conception.

Cutting no corners, sparing no expense, each piece is carefully designed, executed, manufactured, and examined under the watchful, sharp eyes of their creator.
